Sara Duterte's Heartfelt Christmas Message to Filipinos

Vice President Sara Duterte emphasized the importance of love and forgiveness in her Christmas message to Filipinos, particularly for the poor and sick.

During her address, it was stated that, "In our reflection on the spirit of Christmas, everyone is called to be forgiving, generous, and loving towards one another." She noted that "the birth of Jesus conveys a message of forgiveness rooted in God's unparalleled love for all."

Duterte highlighted that beyond material gifts, understanding and respect should also be extended to each other. She remarked, "More than the material things we will receive this Christmas, an invitation is given to offer understanding, respect, and love to one another, especially to the needy and the ill."

She concluded by reminding everyone that this essence should resonate not just in December but throughout the year.
